Dennis Cain

Dennis Cain, active member in HSC since 1986. President of HSC from 1993 to 1994 and has either chaired or worked on almost every committee since joining until present.

In the past 13 years, Dennis has represented HSC at the annual Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation in Washington, D.C.

A professional career as owner and manager of a medical billing company representing some of Houston and Texas most prestigious hospitals, laboratories, anesthesia and radiology practices since 1976.

In 1964, Dennis graduated from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas with a degree in math and physics. He worked at Cessna Aircraft Company in the engineer department upon graduation. In 1969, he moved to San Antonio, Texas and then Houston in 1976.

Dennis has hunted in Africa, Spain, Canada, Alaska and New Zealand but enjoys his south Texas lease near Laredo with the Laredo Mafia, including Tommy Morrison, as one of the most challenging survival camps.

Presently retired, he living on a horse ranch with wife Valerie near Magnolia, Texas.


Harold Inman

Harold Inman has been a member of HSC since 2000, and upgraded to Life Member this year. He is currently the HSC Publications and Marketing Chairman and a member of the HSC Sporting Clays Tournament Committee. He has been an exhibitor, donor and membership booth volunteer at Convention over the years.

After retiring from the energy industry, he joined Rancho Caracol, the Orvis endorsed wing shooting lodge in Mexico. While at Rancho Caracol, he organized a Hunting with Heroes white wing dove hunt in conjunction with HSC. He has been married to his wife Mollie of 41 years, has 2 sons (who are both avid hunters and shooters) and 3 grandchildren. A lifelong hunter, he especially enjoys wing shooting with Dixie (his Brittany Spaniel) and Nick (his English Setter). 


Shaun Nelson

Shaun Nelson has been a member of HSC since 2006. He has served as Convention Co-chair, Silent Auction Committee Chair, Raffle Committee Chair and a member of the Membership Committee.

In addition to his work with HSC, he has been a Gazelles Luncheon Sponsor and donated to HSC’s silent auctions.

Shaun is employed as a Business Development Representative at McCorvey Sheet Metal Works, LP. He is also the proud father of son Ty (17) and daughter Taylor (14), both of whom are avid hunters and outdoors men.


Matt Pyle

Matt Pyle has been a member of HSC since 2009. He served as Vice President from 2012 to 2013 and is currently serving as the 2015 HSC Sporting Clays Tournament Chairman. Matt was the 2013 Convention Chairman and the Corporate Convention Sponsor Chairman in 2012 and 2013. He also serves as the HSC Hunting with Heroes Chairman, Shoot for the Troops Committee and as a Membership Co-Chair.

In addition to his work with HSC, he has been a Gazelles Luncheon Sponsor and Shoot for the Troops Sponsor.

Matt is a member of the NRA and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Matt served in the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1988 as Sergeant/E5 in the 82nd Airborne Division. He is now an Energy Consultant at Choice Energy Services. He is married to Susie and has three children: Sloan, Stockton and Sawyer (all HSC members).


Scott Scheinin, M.D.

Scott Scheinin has been a Life Member of HSC since 2007. He has served on the Convention Art Committee, Exhibitor Committee and has been the Convention Sponsorship Chairman since 2013. He has also been a HSC Hunting Awards Sponsor, Gazelle Luncheon Sponsor, Convention donor, and was a multi-year HSC Hunting Award winner. He served a 2-year term as HSC Vice President and was a Director from 2011 to 2013.

He is a founding partner of Texas Surgical Associates, a multi-hospital group of cardiovascular surgeons, and works as the Surgical Director of Lung Transplantation at the Methodist Hospital. His wife, Andi, is a HSC spousal member and was Co-Chair of the 2012 Gazelles Luncheon. He has 3 children: Lauren (23), Max (18, HSC member) and Samantha (16).
