2014 HSC Sporting Clays Tournament
Benefiting HSC’s mission of preserving the sport of hunting, supporting wildlife conservation and educating the public on hunting and conservation.
Houston Safari Club is pleased to announce that the 2014 HSC Sporting Clays Tournament will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Westside Sporting Grounds. Over the years, this event has proven to be extremely popular because of the great fellowship, fabulous raffle items and good times had by all. This year’s proceeds will continue to fund HSC’s mission of preserving the sport of hunting, supporting wildlife conservation and educating the public on hunting and conservation. Experienced and novice shooters alike are encouraged to attend. Bring your colleagues, clients, family and friends out for a fun day of shooting and fundraising for a truly worthy cause.
Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each of three (3) Lewis Classes, as well as individual awards (raw score only) for men’s HOA, ladies HOA and Junior HOA (16 years or younger).
FOOD AND FUN
Food and drinks will be provided to shooters and paid attendees. Alcoholic beverages will be available to non-shooters and shooters once they are finished shooting for the day.

AMMO, EYE PROTECTION AND HEARING PROTECTION NOT PROVIDED
- Shells are not provided for the HSC Sporting Clays Tournament. Each team will require 100 shells per shooter, plus shells for mulligans shots (if mulligans were purchased). No steel or magnum loads;.
- Mandatory eye and ear protection is not provided. Eye and ear protection are required for everyone – all shooters, volunteers, sponsors and guests – while out on the courses.
- No alcohol on the courses. Alcohol is only permitted in and directly surrounding the pavilion. All shooters are required to wear a wrist band while shooting in the tournament. If the wrist band is on, no alcohol. Once you have finished shooting and you remove your wrist band, you are able to partake in cold adult beverages.
