Convention 2009 - Pursuit

Join your fellow outdoor enthusiasts from around the world as the Houston Safari Club hosts its annual Worldwide Hunting Expo, titled "Pursuit," January 16-18, 2009 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The event will feature more than 200 outfitters, guide services and outdoor activity vendors from around the world. In addition to its numerous exhibits, the expo will feature live auctions, a silent auction, door prizes, exquisite food and live musical entertainment. Anyone interested in networking with internationally renowned experts and other outdoor enthusiasts can attend. Tickets are available for $10 a piece for daily admission.

Mark this date on your calendar and come join the approximately 900 HSC members - and thousands of guests & visitors - as they celebrate the positive impact that concerned sport hunters provide for wildlife populations worldwide. You can become a member of HSC, participate in its fund raising activities, and/or learn more about HSC and its benefits by calling the HSC office at 713-623-8844. Every year the Houston Safari Club, in conjunction with the American Conservation & Education Society (ACES), proudly awards scholarships to students currently involved in the study of Wildlife Management and/or Range Management. In 1999, the first year of this program, we were happy to award five scholarships. From 1999 through 2007 a total of one hundred and fifty six scholarships have been awarded to well-deserving students totaling over $448,000!
